Project Evolve

When we set up Salle Ossian we asked the question, if a child wanted to go for it in our sport, where could there go.  At that time there was nowhere.  So we set up our charity and opened the first dedicated training centre for the sport in Scotland.  Today we are one of the most successful sabre clubs in the UK and we retain our strong identify, charitable purposes and aims.  However, you might not be aware that there is no funding available for young aspiring fencers who want to push on to higher levels of athletic performance.  To support them, we've instituted Project Evolve, a programme designed to provide expert performance management and support, including strength and conditioning, psychological skills training and lifestyle management.  Our aim quite simply is to help fencers take the next step towards senior international fencing, world, european and Olympic fencing.  There is currently no funding provided nationally for projects of this nature and we need your help.  Please get in touch to help support this important initiative.
